AI web design
An AI-assisted design studio. You hire us, not software.
We use AI to build websites faster and cheaper, and on bigger projects we build AI into the website itself. What you get is still a real studio building a real site for your business — never a template you could have bought for £40.
- A studio, not a self-serve tool
- Fixed prices from £100
- Built on Cloudflare Workers
First, a distinction
“AI website builder” and “AI web design studio” are not the same thing
These two searches look almost identical and want completely opposite things. It is worth being clear about which one we are before you read any further.
Not us
An AI website builder
Software you use yourself. You type in your business name, it generates a site, and you maintain it. Cheaper per month, but you are the designer, the copywriter and the person who notices when it breaks. Good tools exist — Wix, Squarespace and Durable all do this well.
If that is what you want, you do not need us. It would be dishonest to sell you a service when a £15/month tool is the right answer.
This is us
An AI-assisted design studio
You tell us what the business needs. We design it, build it, write and edit the content, handle the SEO, deploy it and hand it over. AI is how we do that work faster than a traditional studio, and why the price is £300 rather than £3,000.
You are buying an outcome, not access to a tool. And you own what we build.
How we use it
Where AI genuinely helps
There is a lot of noise about AI in web design. These are the four places it makes a real difference rather than a marketing claim.
- 01
Production speed
Layout, responsive breakpoints and boilerplate are largely generated and then reviewed by hand. This is where the price difference comes from — it is the single biggest reason we can charge £300 for work agencies quote £3,000 for.
- 02
A first draft to edit
AI drafts initial page copy, which we then rewrite around what you actually do. Starting from a draft rather than a blank page is faster. Shipping the draft unedited is what makes AI content obvious and useless.
- 03
Quality checks
Accessibility issues, missing alt text, contradictory headings and broken internal links are exactly the kind of thing a machine catches reliably and a tired human does not. Every build is checked this way before launch.
- 04
On the finished website
On the Complete package, AI becomes part of the product: an assistant that answers customer questions from your own content, drafts quote responses, and routes genuine enquiries to you.
On the website itself
AI your customers actually interact with
Included in the Complete package at £600. Built on Cloudflare Workers, so it runs on the same edge network as the rest of your site.
Answers, at any hour
A visitor asks whether you cover their postcode at 11pm on a Sunday. They get an answer instead of a contact form and a wait until Monday.
Trained on your content
It answers from your services, your prices and your service area — not from general knowledge about your industry. When it does not know, it says so and passes the enquiry on.
Every conversation is a lead
Questions and contact details are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, so you can see what people actually ask and follow up on the ones that went nowhere.
AI web design questions
Straight answers
Are you an AI website builder?
No, and this is an important distinction. A website builder is a tool you use to build a site yourself — Wix, Squarespace, Durable. We are a design and development studio: you tell us what your business needs, and we build it. We use AI as part of how we work, which is why our prices are lower than a traditional agency. You are still buying a service, not a subscription to software.
So how do you actually use AI?
Mostly in production rather than in the finished website. Laying out pages, generating responsive breakpoints, writing boilerplate code, drafting first-pass copy for you to edit, checking accessibility and generating image variants. Work that used to take two days now takes an hour. That saving is why a five-page website from us is £300 rather than £3,000.
Can AI write my website content?
It can produce a first draft, and we use it that way — but it does not know your business, your customers or why they choose you. A first draft from AI with no editing reads exactly like a first draft from AI, and visitors notice. We use it to get to a starting point faster, then edit it properly. If you want content that genuinely converts, the specifics have to come from you.
What is an AI assistant on a website actually for?
For a small business, the useful version answers the same twenty questions you get asked on the phone every week — do you cover my area, what does it cost, how long does it take, do you do X. It answers instantly at 11pm and hands over to a real enquiry form when the question needs a human. It is genuinely useful for trades, clinics and professional services. It is decoration on a five-page brochure site with no traffic.
Can the AI assistant give wrong answers?
It can, which is why we scope it to your own content rather than letting it answer from general knowledge, and why we test it against real questions before launch. We also make it say "I do not know, let me pass this to a human" rather than guessing. A confident wrong answer about your prices is worse than no assistant at all.
Will Google penalise an AI-built website?
Google’s guidance is about content quality, not how a site was produced — its own statements say it rewards helpful content regardless of how it was made. What gets sites penalised is mass-produced thin content with no value, whether it was written by a person or a model. Every site we ship is a real website for a real business, with content that is reviewed and edited.
How much does an AI website cost?
Our prices are the same whether AI is used in the build or not: £100 for one page, £300 for up to five, £600 for a full site. The £600 Complete package is the one that includes AI on the website itself — an assistant trained on your content, a backend on Cloudflare Workers, and a database for enquiries.
Tell us what you need built. We will tell you if AI helps.
A one-page site is £100 and a five-page site is £300. An AI assistant and backend are part of the £600 package — worth it for some businesses, and decoration for others. We will say which.
